Vlog issues, Avoid getting ripped off by Mechanics,Mobile Advertising, iPhone streams YouTube

Freshest fart Fridays!

Awesome to finally be here. First issue is the vlog. I need a cool place to make them, an cool theme…and a regular  interval between vlogs.

Cool place will be hard to find but I’ll work it out soon, I’m thinking outdoor, but will the audio be crap then? hmm… Themewise, I’m sure random thoughts under the same focus of the blog would make sense. I’m thinking fortnight or a monthly vlog. Any comments? Will definitely let you know on a progress, as it’ll be the first vlog! But when?

Mobile handset advertisers and those in the mobile industry rejoice! The market is hitting uber ripeness! How? Here’s an impressive article with included graphical rendition of the mobile advertising arena (pretty sweet).  A quick figure as a teaser? 85% of US adults own a mobile handse, 49% about half say they use their handset for more than just phone calls…content sharing. Oooooo~

The iPhone is set to be the first mobile device to stream YouTube~ Just get one and start watching!

Here’s the famous story of the iLoser. The dude who freakin lines up to be the first of everything…interesting or sad?

Lifestyle

I know nothing of mechanics and cars so this is a nice video to have…How to avoid getting ripped off by mechanics!

Today’s funny pic is a scanned story of someone’s story/complaint to an airline about being seated opposite the plane’s toilet LOL  *CLICK* then *laugh out loud* to *roll on floor laughing*

Enjoy your weekend!

MySpace vs YouTube, Why Friendster is on the rise, iPhone reviews!

Hey guys it’s thaw your fingers Thursday!

Tech Love

MySpace Videos is going to become MySpaceTV and go head to head with YouTube~! MySpaceTV will be launced tonight (Aussie time). The prediction in the article is that this could potentially be the YouTube killer…big call but hey there’s a graph to show the growth and it definitely don’t look like it’s dropping sometime soon!

What do you think? I think that YouTube has to keep upping its’ service to keep at the top of the food chain. It is the site to beat so it will be a long process but I don’t see why not? MySpace is majorly connected to people on a personal level so why not hook them to the TV channel too?

An interesting article from ZDnet blogs about the sudden rise of Friendster as at one stage it was going to be left in the dust clouds…I enjoyed this read as I also counted Friendster as very dead at one stage.

Now that the iPhone is out! Here’s a blog by ZDnet again that draws from various reviews to give a great an overall summary, as it looks at both spectrums of the argument. The verdict? you decide. My verdict from reading the blog? I think the revolutionary but with flaws is probably the best call. Or am I just old school?

Heres an interesting find from Yahoo! supposedly one third of teens  have been harassed online…I’m sure one way to sum it up is this…hehe sorry I have to stop being mean. But I do keep it real like Dave Chappelle.

Now there are times when we have to pee but we have no freakin idea where the closest restroom is?! Well fret no more! Mizpee is here!

MizPee is a new service focused on delivering pertinent information regarding the location of nearby restrooms. Using MizPee is as simple as surfing to mizpee.com via a mobile device browser. Users simply enter their location and MizPee delivers a list of nearby toilets, how far away the toilet is, a rating and whether it requires payment.”

I will attempt to set up an account for my vlog tonight! Until then, enjoy the Engrish pic below!    Is it rude to say….”Butter Engrish Prease?” LOL

Here’s a great article by Steve Rubel on the community online and the gluing together of the online to the offline. Or in easier wording my virtual life to my real life. It’s definitely an interesting read! It’s obviously got a nice focus on PR which brings the issues of online PR’s growing importance as another communication tool in our handy tool kits!

Oh and if you didn’t know already…THIS IS…SPARTA!!!!!!!!!!!

So we all love  to read blogs (I hope :) ) to check out our particular interests but never know where to look or would like somewhere to check out while I’m bored..Here’s a pretty cool list from Yahoo! that gives short descriptions and the link for 100 blogs they ‘love’ hehe enjoy!

So here are 2 links to images that represent the blogging world or also known as the ‘blogosphere’…First link, graphically shows the top 30 cities in the world for blog postings and comments. The second link, shows a global map of which areas prefer which social networking site, looks like Australia is all MySpaced out…is that a good thing??!!

Now onto the sociology of social networks…it’s been found that MySpace users are generally poorer and less educated than those of Facebook. This article from Valleywag breaks it down plus has a pretty cool visual rendition of the 2 sites differences hehehe

Now I love my Nintendo DS lite…so if Nintendo does well I in turn do well…haha well makes me happy anyway…it was reported that Nintendo briefly took over Sony in revenue when last year Sony was 9 times larger….so Nintendo has totally ripped up the track this year! HERE’S THE ARTICLE! On top of kicking the PS3 up the hooter(?) *i have to keep it nice* they acquired the services of a very well known Nicole Kidman as their new spokeswoman as she has mainstream appeal for all audiences~ All the right moves…I love Mario that much more now although although Snorlax is cuter.

Lifestyle

Here’s another but even more comprehensive link to really get some good sleep or fix up your sleeping schedule…I know I gotta start work on this!

Finally when you need a cheer up, here’s some advice all the way back from 1820! Pretty sweet stuff…am I allowed to do a college humour laugh at number 15 just because it’s so true for the ‘new male’ for todays times hehe sorry guys and gals. Darn you immaturity!

For all those people that wanna mess with Pandada…we gots it down! hehe old school.

pandadan’s backup!
