Panda Dan’s lifestyles and Tech love

Panda Dan’s Lifestyle and Tech Love blog! New Media, Marketing too…

Mr T WoW ad? Worst PR ever…sorry old friend. What’s your real age?

Now it’s been a while and I do apologise, I have been renovating a new house so any free time I have seems to be dedicated towards it…

So please understand when there are absences. But I will keep everyone posted.

Tech Love

For all the gaming heads out there and all the Mr T fans. What better than to put the two together?  Here’s the link to both Mr T and William Shatner’s ads for World of Warcraft (WoW).  Enjoy!

Now this is both a painful and comical experience, a good friend who introduced  me into the interactive media field has felt the unfortunate wrath of bad PR. He does not appear in the clip mind you, but this is a classic example of PR gone wrong…very wrong. So when we think of making a company ‘trendy’ or ‘hip’ what’s the first thing that comes to mind? A freakin’ rap song that’s sung by our executive staff and CEO! I won’t hold it back any longer.

Yes yes y’all we don’t stop…oh the horror.

What’s your real age? I’m 23 but I’m apparently 15.8 years old . While I doubt the validity thereof I do admit I have a pretty healthy lifestyle apart from sleeping 4-5 hours a night.

Weirdest and freakiest and politically testing commercial from the land of Japan…why kid’s depression is connected to a child humping dog that advocates potato chips I have no idea.

Plus I am considering clearing this mess of a blogs template to something refreshing. If anyone knows any nice templates they would like me to use or just have a suggestion feel free to let fly so we can get a chatting about renovatin this here blog!

Oh and this happens everyday on my way to the office to some newb tourist

YouTube is still king,Adelaide Marketer Group on Facebook, iLike Facebook, Cheap flights via Google

I assume we have all enjoyed our weekends?

For some it is their university/school holidays…meanwhile I am still faithful to the desk, and hey it’s all love! Maybe you can just buy me a coffee so you have interesting reads over your holidays~ hehe  Let’s get started.

Tech Love

An article on Marketing Vox featured a study that found 65 video sites, YouTube is still racking in 50% of traffic while the other 64% fight over the leftover 50%…It’s pretty sweet to be king by that amount. For May YouTube had 60%, and MySpaceTV was at 16% with Google video at 8%. Will MySpaceTV ever catch YouTube?  16% really isn’t THAT bad, as it was only launched recently.

There are plenty of marketers and aspiring marketers in Adelaide but many lack the network, or knowledge on how to meet other professionals/colleagues to perhaps get an opportunity or even just hang out! That’s why I’ve created the Adelaide Marketer group on Facebook. It’s open to all marketers worldwide so if you happen to be a happy marketer that enjoys Facebook, please feel free to join and say hello! Here’s the link again. I look forward to seeing you on there!

While I am not willing to add too many more apps onto my personal Facebook, many are adding the iLike application. The iLike application for Facebook is a digital music service that can be added to a user’s Facebook interface…in human language it’s described as: “iLike lets you add music and videos to your profile, and see who’s going to what concerts. Bonus: get free mp3s matching your tastes, and beat your friends at the Music Challenge.” The iLike app is the fastest growing music service with over 1 million new registered users a week…Check it out and let me know what you think. Should I do it for the masses to find out the elusive Panda’s music tastes? hehe my black ears are twitching to hear your thoughts on the iLike app on Facebook.

Find cheaper flights on Google!

15 ways to keep your brain in shape! There are some people out there that deserve a nice N/A sign for this site hehe question: can people hate a rude panda?

Well that wraps it up for this joyous Monday that is my birthday! But I usually keep it on the down low…iLike coffees LOL

Have a great day! Enjoy today’s pic that has the theme…White ninja is the Bomb!

For all the Google searching noobs that just can’t seem to narrow or better their searching techniques…Here’s 20 tips for more efficient google searches!

Google gets a fail for privacy? This is rather  interesting as all other sites reviewed never fell to Google’s depth in rating…scary? Well now Google is up for a battle with the company that gave them the ranking. Hurray!

AHHH!!! Awesome! Now I love ancient mythology so the ancient cities are something of an interesting point in my life’s discussion. I was particularly awe-struck when I saw this article that stated that:

“Tourists puzzled by the jumble of buildings in classical and modern Rome can now find their bearings by visiting a virtual model of the imperial capital in what is being billed as the world’s biggest computer simulation of an ancient city. ”  URL for the site.

Also here’s how to add onto your Facebook profile!

Now here’s a link to an answer many smokers have asked…”what happens to my body when I stop smoking now?”  very cool way to not only reduce numbers but also stop the risk of people starting smoking.

Also how to really powernap

Today’s pic is just awesome, you’ll know when you see it. LOL

Australia…far away from everyone and everywhere…but still in the groove, or should I say ‘down with the 411’ LOL Here’s the top 60 web apps 2.0 in Australia. I was rather impressed and surprised at the list~

This issue has come up before, Youtube being banned in countries…here’s a list of countries + map that have banned Youtube…Victoria?? WTF?!

I covered Entropia in a previous post (link), but here’s some sweet news, Entropia’s coming to China! It says in the article also that Second Life was in the running but got pwned…lol I like the sound of Entropia better anyways…

Lifestyle Lessons

Now Guy Kawasaki’s blog –  is a blog I admire and always love to check out, here’s a great excerpt from his blog about the 9 biggest myths of the workplace. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did!
